The Paid Search Manager plays a key role at Gigasavvy, interfacing and integrating with the Agency’s clients, while planning, executing, and reporting on various marketing and advertising campaigns across multiple channels.

This position is focused on SEM (Search Engine Marketing), mostly Paid Search Marketing on Google AdWords and Bing Ads. By partnering with the Director of Account Strategy, Sr. Account Strategist, and various other Agency departments, the SEM Account Strategist is responsible for successfully planning, executing, and reporting on SEM initiatives and invests themselves in the client’s brand. The SEM Account Strategist is also responsible for discovering and aligning the client’s SEM needs with the overall account strategy, working with account teams to deliver solutions that meet (and surpass) the client’s goals and objectives. Managing and executing ongoing SEM improvements, competitive landscape analysis, reporting collaboration, and client communication are a few of the SEM Account Strategist’s primary responsibilities.

The Paid Search Manager will work closely with Agency’s Account Management team to map out timelines and execute work in accordance with the planned strategy and deliverables, to ensure client expectations are accurately set. Additionally, the SEM Account Strategist’s deep investment into understanding the clients’ businesses and industries is integral to success.

The ideal individual will have a solid understanding of Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and it’s role in the greater digital marketing landscape. This individual has an in-depth understanding of SEM, the Agency’s values and the client’s goals and can confidently act as a face of the Agency. They genuinely enjoy diving into their client’s industries and competitors to look for and bring up new opportunities for growth. In addition to maintaining and growing the Agency’s SEM clients, the Paid Search Manager places a high value on team stewardship and enjoys spending time with subject matter experts across the Agency. This position is an active contributor to all initiatives and demonstrates a thorough understanding of the account strategy at all times.

The Paid Search Manager demonstrates an understanding of the balance between SEM results and larger marketing initiatives, clearly articulating needs and setting global expectations. This individual appreciates the subtle nuances of SEM and digital marketing, and is comfortable meeting daily with internal and external stakeholders to communicate wins, losses and opportunities.
